四月是美国数学推广月

一个偶然的机会，我发现四月份是(美国)数学宣传月(Math Awareness Month)。它从1986年以数学宣传周开始，每年举行至今。我很惊讶它的声音是如此之弱。我到中国数学会的网上去看了看，在中国似乎根本没有这样一个活动。某种程度上，这反映了数学不被重视的事实。
